A Sad Death.
The death of Miss Ethel Schenck, daughter of County Surveyor C. E. Schenck and wife, on Thursday last from appendicitis, was a most sad affair. It was the second attack she had suffered recently and an operation became necessary. This was performed but the patient lived only about three hours afterward. The funeral was held from the M E. church Saturday morning and the remains were taken to Frankville for burial. The whole community sympathizes with the family in their bereavement. The deceased was a beautiful young lady of good Christian character, and she will be missed by a wide circle of friends.
