Died at Sioux Falls.
He whom the settlers of 1853-60 knew as Ed. Parliman, and who is widely known throughout southeastern South Dakota as Judge Parliman, died at his home in Sioux Falls, last Monday morning. He was eldest son of the late Dr. Wm. Parliman, and brother of Mrs. Claiborne Day of this city. He was born in Stark Co., Ohio, in 1832, educated at Alleghany College, Pa., and came to Decorah in 1852. After living at Austin and Hastings, Minn., he went to Sioux Falls, where he engaged in the practice of the law until his death.Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Edwin who was born Sept. 21, 1832 and died June 5, 1899. He is buried in St. Michael’s Cemetery in Sioux Falls, SD.
