—Willis Couse, only son of Ald. L.L. Couse, died in this city Tuesday morning from disease of the liver. He was in his twenty-eighth year and had always lived in Decorah. The remains were buried yesterday, the Sons of Veterans having charge of the funeral.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born July 2, 1870 and died May 2, 1899. He is buried in Phelps Cemetery.
