Vera Thornton, a ten month old babe of Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Thornton, died this (Wednesday) morning of spinal meningitis. The little one had been sick some days and hope had been entertained of its recovery, but other complications set in and it succumbed to the inevitable. The funeral will occur Thursday at 2 o’clock p. m. from the family residence.
