—From the Waukon Republican we learn that John H. Sivensind, an old resident of Washington Prairie, died Tuesday morning of congestion of the heart. He was born in Norway in 1846 and came to America when 11 years old. Thirty years ago he located on the farm in Winnesheik county, where he lived till the time of his death. He leaves five children.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows the name spelled Sivesind and that he is buried in E. Glenwood Cemetery.
