The three-year-old daughter and only child of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Herr, died on the 16th inst., after a painful illness of two weeks’ duration. The funeral service took place at the M. E. church on the 18th inst., Rev. Blessin, of Eldorado, officiating.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Gertrude and that she was born February 9, 1896. She is buried in the Calmar Community Cemetery.
