Mr. Calvin Ward died at his home in this village, Saturday evening, Mch. 4th, after a lingering illness from consumption. He was 53 years of age. He leaves a wife and two daughters to mourn his death. John and Benj. Ward of this place, are brothers of the deceased. The funeral was held from the Adventist church Monday at 2 p. m., Rev. J. Ridley officiating. The bereaved family have the sympathy of the community.
