SCOTT-Near Kendallville, Iowa, Feb. 15, 1899. FRANKLIN W. SCOTT, aged 48 years, 11 months and 18 days.
The deceased was born in Lisbon. N. Y. About twenty years ago he moved to Wisconsin, which has been his home the most of the time since. He was married June 22d, 1882, to Miss Ella Clark, daughter of J. A. Clark, one of the first settlers of Winnesheik county, Iowa, at whose home he died, leaving a wife, a son and daughter to mourn. He was an active member of the Advent Christian church, and gave his sorrowing friends the remembrance that whether he lived or died he was the Lord’s. A large company assembled at his funeral, which was conducted Elder J. Ridley, of Burr Oak.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born Feb. 27, 1850 and is buried in the Kendallville-Eddy Cemetery.
