John Ramberg, another old resident, a bachelor 75 years of age, and the last of the original Ramberg brothers of this vicinity, was found dead on the floor of his house on the 20th inst. Deceased lived alone but his house was only a few rods distant from the home of his nephew, Ole O. Ramberg, whose sister, on going to her uncle’s home about the middle of the afternoon, found him lying upon the floor dead, as above stated. Heart disease was probably the cause of death. The funeral service and interment took place on Sunday, the 22d inst., at the Lutheran church and cemetery.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born April 16, 1824 and is buried in Calmar Lutheran Cemetery.
