Father Michael Foley, of Dixon, Ill., was called to attend the funeral of an old neighbor and friend Wednesday, Mrs. Jas. Courtney, who resided in Bluffton township. Father Foley is a brother of Mrs. M. Malanaphy of this city.

Mrs. Mary A. Courtney was called to her old home near Bluffton last week by the death of her mother-in- law, Mrs. Jas. Courtney, on Sunday and her funeral on Wednesday.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Catharine who was born January 17, 1839 and died June 13, 1913. She is buried in St. Bridget Cemetery.
