Martin K. Opdahl died at the family home in Springfield township, on the 17th inst., aged thirty years. A pulmonary difficulty developed in March last, and relief was sought in the climate of Arizona, but it proved unavailing and deceased came home just in time to let his remains be laid away beside those of his fathers in the cemetery of the Washington Prairie Methodist church. He was the only son of the late Gilbert Opdahl, and therefore belonged to one of the pioneer Norwegian families of the county. Two sisters survive him.
