MRS. A. L. HAAKENSON.
The sorest affliction that can befall a happy family came to the home of Mr. A. L. Haakenson yesterday morning, in the death of his beloved wife. The event followed the birth of a son on Monday morning. We have not the data for a full obituary this week. We can only say that a large measure of sympathy is with Mr. H. in what is perhaps the darkest hour of his life.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Margaret who was born Nov. 1, 1864 and died Nov. 21, 1900. She is buried in Lutheran Decorah Cemetery.
