We regret to learn that death again entered the home of John Young, of Hesper township, on Sunday last, this time taking his daughter Elizabeth, a young lady of nineteen years. The cause of her death was malignant diphtheria. It is reported that two other members of the family are also ill but are on the road to recovery. Much sympathy is felt and expressed for the family in their bereavement.

Transcriber’s Note: Hesper Lutheran Cemetery shows the name spelled Elisabeth and that she was born June 11, 1881.
