Clayton E. Rollins Dead.
Clayton E. Rollins, oldest son of J. C. Rollins and wife, of this city, died on Christmas night at his home i the northern part of Burr Oak township, after a long illness that eventually developed into consumption, and the funeral was held on Wednesday, the 27th ult. We are not furnished with the particulars of his life but from along personal acquaintance we knew him to be a man of honor and upright dealing in business affairs, a good citizen, and a worthy son of his aged parents. He leaves a widow and four children who are joined in mourning by a large circle of friends and acquaintances.Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born Nov. 25, 1850 and is buried in Burr Oak Cemetery.
