Mrs. Nellie Stevenson and little babe came Monday noon from Spender, Ia., called here by the death of her father, L. G. Burton.

OBITUARY.
Levi G. Burton was born in Crawford county, Penn., September 8, 1838, and died March 27, 1911. In 1854 he came with his parents to this county. He remained with his parents until 1862, when he enlisted at Frankville in Co. K, 38th Iowa Infantry and served to the close of the war. He was married in 1867 to Lucetta Kendall. To this union was born six children, two of whom preceded him to the better land in childhood. Those left to mourn his loss are Mrs. Allan Clink of this place, Mrs. Elmo Stephenson of Spencer, Misses Edna and Mattie, a wife, two grandchildren, two sisters and other relatives.
