A letter received at this office Tuesday morning brings the intelligence that Neddy Parks, older son of Prof. and Mrs. E. A. Parks, formerly of Decorah, died on the 19th ult. at the family home at Plattsburg, New York. Ever since they left Decorah Neddy had been in poor health, his affliction being valvular trouble of the heart. He was much better last fall but a second attack in February rendered all assistance of no avail. The deep sympathy of many friends here will go out to Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Parks in their affliction.
