Brought Hither for Burial.
The remains of Mr. Allan C. Knapp, who died In Chicago on decoration day, were brought to Decorah last Sunday morning and interred in the Phelps Cemetery beside those of his wife, who was known to the earlier residents of Decorah as Miss May Hutchinson, only daughter of Dr. and Mrs. E. B. Hutchinson. Mr. Knapp is survived by an only daughter, Miss Louise Knapp, who accompanied the remains to Decorah, and is visiting with her uncle, C. N. Goddard, and other relatives.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born Feb. 12, 1846 and died May 30, 1901.
