Died on Her Way to Church.
Mrs. Mary C. Meyrick, wife William Meyrick, No. 6314 Madison avenue, became suddenly ill while on her way to church last evening and died a few minutes later. Mrs. Meyrick was with her husband when she became ill. She sank to the sidewalk, and was carried into the house of L. C. Shepherd, No. 6242 Woodlawn avenue, and Dr. Herman was summoned. She soon became unconscious and died shortly after the physician arrived. Mrs. Meyrick was 67 years old and had been suffering with heart failure for some time. It is thought that this caused her death.
The above item was contained in the columns of the Chicago Inter Ocean of April 22, and relates to the mother of Wm. Meyrick, of Decorah. Mr. and Mrs. Meyrick will be recalled as residents of Decorah for several years.
