The funeral of Joseph Nockles, the youngest son of Frank Nockles, who died suddenly of pneumonia at Alta Vista, and whose body was brought here for interment on the 17th inst., was very largely attended. Three encampments of the Catholic Foresters, of which order the young man was a member, were represented at the funeral. The services were conducted at the Catholic church, Rev. Norris officiating.

Transcriber’s Note: The gravestone in St. Aloysius Cemetery shows the spelling of his name as Nockels and that he was born June 18, 1881 and died March 14, 1901.
