OBITUARY.
HESS.
Mrs. Marguarete Hess, widow of the late Chas. Hess, expired very suddenly last Friday morning at the home of her son-in-law Chas. Kornmeyer, with whom she had been making her home during the winter. She was apparently in usual good health, and that morning ate a hearty breakfast with the family as usual, but within a few minutes thereafter she suddenly expired without a word. Her death was due to asthma and fatty degeneration of the heart. She was 74 years old and leaves a family of seven children. The remains were taken to Fort Atkinson Saturday afternoon, where the funeral services were held on Monday and the burial made at Festina, where the family home has been for nearly 40 years. The sympathy of friends is extended to the bereaved relatives.
