Death of Pastor Stub’s Wife.
A telegram from Rev. H G. Stub, former pastor of the First Lutheran Church of this city, to Mr Anundsen of the Decorah Posten, received Monday, brought intelligence of the death of Mrs Stub. The event occurred in Christiania, and was not wholly unexpected; for a long time she has been an invalid, and the advices of her condition had for some time left little ground for hope of recovery Pastor Stub will have hearty sympathy from his Decorah friends in his hour of affliction.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows her name as Valborg Charlotte Amalie (Hovind) {with no mention of Stub other than being a spouse of Rev. Stub.} She was born Feb. 3, 1860 and died March 3, 1901.
