—Intelligence was received last week of the death of Mrs. C. C. Cooke, resident of this city until a few weeks ago. Her death took place Jan. 2d, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Cavin, at Wewahitchka, Florida, whither she went in December last. She has been in poor health for some time and it was hoped that a milder climate might prolong her life.
