Death of Old Settlers.
The Canton Free Lance of last week contains the notices of the death of two old residents of southern Minnesota who are well known in Winnesheik— Dr. R. A. Sturgeon, of Canton, who was a physician in Burr Oak in the early fifties, and Simon Houck, who settled near Prosper in 1856. Dr. Sturgeon was a native of Ireland and came to America in 1849. Mr. Houck was born in Pennsylvania in 1819.
