Death of Mrs. Thos. Murray
The death of Mrs. Thos. Murray occurred at Waukon last Friday morning at the home of her son John, whom she had been visiting. Mary Healey was born in October, 1836, in County Warford, Ireland. She was married to Thomas Murray and eight children blessed the union, one of whom, William, died in this city last summer. The family came to America 29 years ago, locating in Decorah, where they have since made their home. Mrs. Murray had been sick for about four weeks with heart trouble, and death resulted last Friday morning at five o’clock. Funeral services were held at Waukon Saturday morning, and the remains were brought to Decorah for interment.
