E. E. Earl, who has been in poor health for some time, passed away last Saturday evening and will be buried today at Oak Lawn. The funeral will take place this forenoon at the Mor-{?} church.

EARL.
Elliott E. Earl was born at Brownville, Jefferson Co., New York, May 28th, 1838. He was youngest of a family of six children born to Horace and Fanny Earl. He died at his home in Orleans twp., Winneshiek Co., Iowa, Jan. 20, 1912, as the result of heart and kidney trouble. He lived in York State until Feb. 1866, when he came to Iowa, locating on the farm where he died. Oct. 3rd, 1865, he was married to Miss Minnie Root who was called to the better land, Oct. 17, 1899. For many years Mr. Earl has had poor health, but has endured it with patience till death came to his relief. He leaves to mourn his loss one sister, Mrs. Louise Fuller, one foster daughter Mrs. Delia Oleson, of Orleans twp., two nieces Mrs. Susan Greenhalgh of Cresco, Ia., Mrs. Fannie McKenzie of Brownville, New York., three nephews Albert E. and Andrew E. Fuller of Orleans twp., and Frank E. Fuller of Clear Lake, Iowa.
The funeral was held Tuesday forenoon at the Morgan church, Rev. John Gammons officiating, assisted by Rev. Hallett, and was largely attended by friends and neighbors. Interment was in Oak Lawn cemetery.
