OBITUARY.
TURNER.—At his father’s home in Hesper township, Nov. 20th, 1902, William Harrison Turner, son of Hallock and Betsy Turner, aged 23 years, 4 months and 14 days.
Most of his life was passed at his father’s home in Hesper township.
His mother died when he was very young, but his father's family, also his wife and infant daughter survive to lament their loss.
On Sunday morning, Nov 23d, his remains were escorted by the many friends and boyhood acquaintances to the Norwegian Methodist church at Highlandville and interred in the church cemetery there, the services being conducted by Rev. Jacobson. There is deep regret in many hearts that a soul whose nature was so broad and loving should be called to the silence of the tomb just when life’s prospects seem brightest and manhood’s power is at its prime. The sympathies of all are extended to his father’s family and especially to the bereaved wife and little one.
