Last Wednesday, a baby girl was born to Mr. and Mrs. John Hosper, but the mother did not survive the child{?} and Wednesday evening she breathed her last. She was buried Friday morning, Rev. John Norris performing the ceremony.

Transcriber’s Note: Iowa Gravestone Photos show this was Josephine and that she is buried in St. Aloysius Cemetery. She was born in 1860.
