Christian, the nineteen year old son of Herman Wangsness, living east of town, died Friday morning of appendicitis, the interment taking place Sunday from the Lutheran church here. Besides numerous relatives in Calmar and vicinity the deceased had many friends who mourn his early death. The bereaved family have the sympathy of this community.

Transcriber’s Note: Calmar Lutheran Cemetery shows he was born February 19, 1882 and died March 14, 1902.
