Last Monday evening occurred the death of Mrs. Nereson, mother of our respected citizen, Sam Nereson. She had been ailing for a long time and death relieved her of suffe{r}ing.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Anlaug who is buried in the Stavanger Cemetery. She was born August 15, 1826.
