Death of an Old Resident
Mrs. E. R. Scott died at her home in this city last Saturday morning from pneumonia. Mr. and Mrs. Scott have been residents of this county since 1858, living until last fall on a farm in Madison township. Mr. Scott, three daughters and two sons survive her. The funeral was held this morning at the Episcopal church.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this is Mary who is buried in Phelps Cemetery. She was born February 9, 1835 and died March 8, 1902.
