Hugh Armstrong died at his home, Friday morning, Dee. 18th, after a lingering Illness of nearly a year. He was born in County Tyrone, Ireland, March 21st, 1869, came to America when nineteen years of age. Married Miss Anna Bellis, Aug. 4th, 1900, is survived by his wife and two children, one sister and three brothers. Was a member in good standing of the M. W. A. camp of this place, and was greatly respected by all who knew him. The funeral was held from the U. B. church of this place, under the auspices of the Woodmen, Rev. Ross preached the funeral sermon. The body was interred in Fairview cemetery. Hugh was a quiet unassuming man, but had many sterling qualities, which gained him universal respect. The church was filled by neighbors and friends to pay their last respects to the dead.
