—A note and newspaper from Mrs. E. Cutler brings news of the death of her sister, Mrs. Mary R. Brigham, in Milwaukee on the 28th ult. Mrs. Brigham was in her eighty-third year, and was one of the oldest residents of Milwaukee. She was one of the prime movers in the soldiers’ home fair in 1865 which resulted in the purchase of the land where now stands the national soldiers’ home.
