The death of Mrs. Milo Emery which occurred on Wednesday of last week, was a great shock to her friends. Her maiden name was Sarah Jane Sharp, daughter of Wm. and Sarah Sharp, born in Canoe township, this county, July 21, 1853, married to Milo Emery, April 12, 1884. On Monday, July 27, she was attacked with tonsilitis, and in spite of the best medical aid, and all that loving care could do, the disease developed so rapidly, that she died two days later. She leaves a husband, five brothers and five sisters to mourn. Her funeral was attended at the home, (which is known as the Finney farm). Rev. Dorcas, of this place, preached the funeral discourse, and she was buried in the Russell cemetery on Friday of last week.
