Jo Panek of Austin, Miss Annie Panek of Decorah and Mrs. Hurt Skinner of Austin were called here by the death of their father, Saturday.
Jos. Panek died Saturday afternoon after a long illness. The body was taken to Spillville yesterday for interment. The bereaved family have the sincere sympathy of their many friends.

Transcriber’s Note: St. Wenceslaus Cemetery records show he was born March 3, 1845 and died April 11, 1903.

The remains of Joseph Panek, who died at Calmar, were brought to Spillville and interred in the Catholic cemetery last Monday. The funeral services were at two o’clock, Rev. Jos. Postal officiating.
