The Silent Reaper.
Mrs. John Ringdahl died on Thursday last after a lingering illness from cancer and her remains were taken to Quaudahl Saturday for burial. She was born in Norway in 185l where she married Mr. Ringdahl. They came to the United States in 1879 and for seven years lived in Quandahl with the exception of five months spent at Sioux Fails they have since resided in Decorah. Eight children were born to them, seven of whom, six boys and one daughter, with the husband, survive. The funeral service was held Saturday morning from the United Lutheran church, Rev. J. O. Hougen officiating.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Bertha and she is buried in Big Canoe Lutheran Cemetery and was born June 5, 1851 and died March 12, 1903.
