Chas. Gerlemen received word Saturday morning that his father, Fredrick Gerlemen, had died that morning at Ossian.

On Tuesday occurred the funeral of F. Gerleman. Mr. Gerleman had been ill for a lengthy time and his ailing, combined with old age, hastened his death. He was buried at the St. Francis de Sales church, Rev. Norris of Calmar officiating.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born December 5, 1835 and died February 21, 1903. Also the name is spelled Frederick Gerleman.
