Grace Harriet Ziegelmaier, 94, of Lansing, Iowa died Friday, September 6, 2019 at Veterans Memorial Hospital, Waukon, Iowa. She was born January 12, 1925 to Helmer and Gleora (Gullickson) Knutson in Ridgeway, Iowa. Grace graduated from Ridgeway High School.

Grace was united in marriage with Robert D. Ziegelmaier on September 26, 1947 in Decorah, Iowa.

Grace is survived by her two children, James (Kathy) Ziegelmaier of Peosta and Jane Ann (Bill) Kuennen of Lansing; two grandchildren, Angela (Dan) Schrad and Robert (Erika) Ziegelmaier and six great-grandchildren, Ben, Adam and Grace Schrad and Carter, Lukas and Charlee Ziegelmaier.

Grace was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Zieglemaier in 1983 and her parents.

A Celebration of Life will be Friday, September 13, 2019 from 4 – 8 pm at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Lansing, Iowa.

A private family burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Lansing, Iowa at a later date.

Thornburg-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Lansing, Iowa are helping the family with the arrangements.
