A. J. McClasky passed away at his home in Decorah Saturday, July 17th, as the result of enlargement of the liver. He was a brother-in-law of Mrs. Cleghorn and Miss Mason of Cresco, and was well known in both Winnesheik{sp} and Howard counties, having been a resident of Cresco at one time and for many years proprietor of the Winneshiek House at Decorah.
Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he is buried in Phelps Cemetery and that he was born February 18, 1842; however, they show his date of death as July 25, 1909. It also shows the spelling as McClaskey.
