Death of Benjamin Millward.
Calmar Courier:—Instead of a merry Christmas, it will be a very sad Christmas indeed in the homes of the Millward families, made as by the sudden death of Benjamin Millward, father of Messrs, John and William Millward and Miss Elizabeth Millward of this city, this (Friday) morning, Dec. 23d, death resulting from hemorrhage of the brain.
Benjamin Millward was born February 3d, 1827, at Dudley, Worcestershire, England, came to America in 1870 and settled in Decorah, Iowa, where he resided until 1881, when the family moved to Minneapolis, Minn., where he resided, until 1902, when he came to make his home with his son William at Calmar, Iowa, where he died Dec. 23, 1904.
At this hour nothing definite has been decided about the funeral but he will probably be taken to Minneapolis for burial beside his wife who passed away several years ago.
