DIED.
RICHARD GOFORTH—At Burr Oak, Iowa, Nov. 5th, 1904.
He was born at LaColle, Province of Quebec, Feb. 4, 1828, and left home at the age of 17. Was Married to Annie Manning Aug, 18, 1852, and moved to Burr Oak in 1867, where he has since resided. Mr. Goforth has been a great sufferer for many years. He was a good citizen and a faithful Christian. A wife and one daughter survive him.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he is buried in Burr Oak Cemetery; however, they show he was born Feb. 24, 1828.
