Mrs. Charles Rudolph Dead.
A telegram to the REPUBLICAN yesterday from Mrs. Emily Rudolph-Rowell of Minneapolis announced the death of her mother, Mrs. Charles Rudolph, at Deephaven, a suburb of Minneapolis, on Tuesday. The remains will be brought to Decorah and the funeral held from the family home on the corner of Mill and Jefferson streets to-morrow, Friday afternoon. Mrs. Rudolph was a native of Germany and her maiden name was Fredericka Borchert. She came to America in 1853 and was married immediately after her arrival in this country to Mr. Rudolph. Previous to coming to Decorah to reside they lived for a year in St. Louis and then removed to Wisconsin. Her residence here dates back to 1859. Mr. Rudolph died April 16 and soon after his death she went to Minneapolis to make her home with her daughter Mrs. Rowell. She is also survived by her youngest daughter, Miss Augusta and her son Edward of Decorah. About eight years ago she suffered a stroke of paralysis and since that time she has been an invalid. We are without further particulars concerning her life or death but presume death resulted from her affliction.Transcriber's Note: Find a Grave shows she was born in 1834.
