A Sudden Death at Canton,
Free Lance:—The village was startled Tuesday morning when it was learned that Sid Boyd had been found dead in his blacksmith shop. Mr. Boyd had not gone to his home the night before but nothing was thought of the matter and it was not until nearly ten o’clock the next morning that he was discovered when someone going to the shop found him lying there. Dr. Hurt was summoned and he pronounced it appoplexy{sp}, life having been extinct for at least six hours.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he is buried in Lenora Cemetery in Lenora, MN and that he was born October, 1850 and died July 19, 1904.
