Chas. Bloxham was born January{?} 21, 1881, in Castalia, Iowa, and died March 17, 1904, in the hospital in Minneapolis, of blood poison. The intelligence of his critical illness was followed about an hour later by a telegram from the hospital saying that if any of the family wished to see him alive to come at once, but he passed away about three hours after the receipt of the telegram and before the father could arrive. Mr. S. Bloxham left Friday morning and returned with the body Saturday afternoon The last of February Charlie left for Sumner to assist his brother-in-law, Mr. Madden, move to Minnesota. Shortly before he left here one of Ins shoes rubbed his heel, making a slight sore, but nothing further was thought of it. After leaving here it began to trouble him and would not yield to simple treatment and a local physician was called in but could do nothing for him and recommended that he be taken to the hospital in Minneapolis, where hee went March 14th. we give this detailed account for the benefit of Charlie's many friends at a distance and especially of the I O. G T fraternity of which he was an enthusiastic and honored member The funeral was conducted from the U B. church Sunday, March 20th, Rev, Robinson of Postville officiating. The church was crowded with eager friends to pay their last respects to the dead The I O. G T lodge of which he was a member turned out in a body and conducted the funeral rites at the grave.

In writing the obituaries of Mrs. F. J. Musser and Charles Bloxham, the dates of birth were incorrect. The former should have been Sept. 30, 1879; and the latter June 21, 1881.
