Henriette Elizabeth Xavier,
Deceased was the daughter of Prof. Laur Larsen, and was born in this city Dec. 17, 1864.. In July, 1895, she married Prof. Karl Xavier, and Sioux Falls, S.D. became their home, he being a member of the faculty of the Sioux Falls Normal School. During last year she began to decline, and spent a part of the winter in hospital at St. Paul, but without avail; consumption had marked her for its victim and death came on Friday last. Her body was brought home for burial. Funeral services were held on Monday, Pastor Torrison officiating at the parental home, and Rev Dr. Koren at the church. The remains were buried in the Norwegian cemetery. Three children were born to and sur¬vive her.
