The remains of William Gripman, a former resident of this city, were brought here for interment, which took place at Phelps cemetery on Memorial Day, being conducted by Col. Hughes Post, G. A. R. He was born in 1844 and served during the war. He died on last Wednesday, at his home in Sioux Falls, S. D. from dropsy and heart trouble. Two children preceded him in death, his wife and one son, Walter of Sioux Falls, S. D. surviving.
