Word comes from McCook Co, S. D., that Joseph Malcomb is very sick with pneumonia. Later:--News received this evening that he had died from the above disease, and the body will be here for burial on Thursday.

The burial of Joseph Malcomb took place last Thursday beside his wife who died in 1887. Mr. Malcomb was one of the pioneers of this vicinity, who are fast passing away, many of whom have within a few months gone over into the “great beyond.” His son Frank accompanied his remains, and is still here, but expected to return to his home in McCook county, S. D., this week.
