DOUBLE FUNERAL AT LA CROSSE.
Mons Anderson, Once the Merchant-Prince, and Wife, Die Inside of 24 Hours.
A LaCrosse dispatch, dated the 6th, reports the death of Mons Anderson, once regarded as the great retail merchant of the northwest; and to that is added that his wife, who was in the best of health up to that event, failed from the moment of his death, and before twenty-four hours elapsed also passed away. These persons were widely known in this city and county. Mr. Anderson, a few years ago, met with business reverses, and his health declined steadily. Mrs. Anderson was a daughter of Mrs. Huffstrom, a former resident of this city and a sister of Mrs. B. Anundsen, now deceased. They were to be buried in one grave.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born June 8, 1830 and died February 3, 1905. His wife Jane was born July 2, 1834 and died February 4, 1905.
