Jas. Hardy died at the home of Gene Burns last Monday and was buried at the Centennial cemetery Wednesday. Rev. Weniger of this place having charge of the services. Mr. Hardy was a brother of John and Minerva Hardy. His home has been in North Dakota until about a year ago, when owing to ill health he came here and has since made his home among relatives.

Transcriber’s Note: Centennial Cemetery records show he was born in 1834.
