HOFLAND.
A fourth death, one which occurred Sunday also, was that of Knut Peterson Hofland of Madison township. He arise at the usual hour, attended church, but at noon complained of a headache, finally becoming so ill that he took to his bed. As he did not seem to recover a physician was called, but death ensued at about half past four in the afternoon. Mr. Hofland was born in Norway, came to America in 1855 and in 1860 took up his residence in this county. A wife and son survive him.

Transcriber's Note: His gravestone in Madison Lutheran Cemetery shows he was born February 5, 1824 and died November 5, 1905.
