HILLER.
A week of excruciating pain and suffering from gall stones preceded the death of Mrs. C. F. Hiller, which occurred Sunday morning last, shortly after two o’clock.
Mrs. Hiller was one of the early residents of the county. Her maiden name was Eliazbeth{sic} Hinterman and she was born June 29, 1844, in Canton Zurich, Switzerland coming to America in 1855 with her parents, who took up their home near Spillville. In July, 1862, she married C F. Hiller and came to Decorah to help him make the home whereof five daughters and three sons grew to womanhood and manhood, and where they gathered with the father Tuesday in mourning for one who had been a faithful, loving and tender companion and wife. The funeral services were conducted buy Revs. M. Willett and Wn. McVettie, and many old friends were in attendance.
